Linda Ellinor and Nancy Dixon from the Academy of Professional Dialogue will be interviewing Francine Ortega and Rebecca Cannara about their intergroup dialogue facilitation on Nov 17 from 12pm-2pm EST (9am-11am PT).

Rebecca and Francine have been bringing together groups, drawn from the community and schools, in English and Spanish, to help build bridges during this time of increased polarization. The process they use, called Intergroup Dialogue, was developed over 30 years ago at the University of Michigan in response to a racial issue that occurred on campus. They are trained facilitators in this model and will be sharing their experiences bringing the model from academic to community settings.
